Capcom reveals competitive modes for Operation Raccoon City

The focus of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is undoubtedly cooperative play, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t any room for competitive modes too.

Games will feature two teams of four, posing as either Umbrella Security Service (USS) or US Spec Ops teams. Three game types have been announced, including a Team Deathmatch that’s been twisted by the threat of not only the opposing side but also the zombies and various other threats of the Resident Evil universe.

Biohazard mode sounds a bit CTF-ish, asking players to return samples of the G-Virus to their respective base. Most interesting is Survivors mode, in which players fight for limited spaces on a rescue helicopter, which should make a frantic rush off a battle. Catch it all in video form below.

Raccoon City suffers the outbreak all over again this March.
