Having wrapped up work on the delightful Stranger’s Wrath HD, Just Add Water is now focusing on bringing another Oddworld title over to shiny high def – Munch’s Oddysee.
The company first announced Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee HD via Twitter, complete with a new logo for the previously Xbox-exclusive title. In the same post it was said that the game would have a Q2 2012 release on PS3/Vita and “other consoles”, interestingly enough. Perhaps the team struck a deal with Microsoft?
A follow-up post provided the first picture of the game’s titular character and his new character model. Of course, Munch’s Oddysee also features fan-favorite character Abe Mudoken; we can’t wait to see the fart-happy alien again.
