Ubisoft has announced that it has closed its Vancouver studio.
The studio was formed under the name Action Pants in 2006, before being acquired by Ubisoft in 2009.
“Unfortunately, we haven’t found the right formula for success for the talented team there. We thank our Vancouver team for their hard work and the projects that they have delivered”, a Ubisoft spokesperson told Game Informer.
“Team members will have the opportunity to consider positions in other Ubisoft studios and we will work with each of them to help find the best next step, whether it be within Ubisoft or outside.”
Ubisoft Vancouver was responsible for games such as Pure Futbol, Academy of Champions: Soccer and Motionsports Adrenaline.
