Mass Effect: Deception, the novel revealed way back in April of last year, will be available in a week, it’s been announced. Next Tuesday, January 31st, is the date attached to it.
The story in this fourth novel — penned by William C. Dietz, unlike the previous three which were squeezed from the pen of Drew Karpyshyn — revolves around Gillian, the subject of science experiments gone awry, who finds herself with some mighty powerful biotic capabilities. An excerpt is available on BioWare’s blog here.
The timing of the novel’s release gives us just over a month to chew through it, before Mass Effect 3‘s arrival in March.
