Inversion, the loose-with-gravity shooter, has been pushed back from its original release date of February 7, 2012, to what is referred to as “early 2012.”
Namco Bandai released this information after retailers changed the launch date to March 27, 2012. A spokesperson from Namco Bandai reports that the reason for this delay is to “allow the team to polish several key aspects of the game ensuring Inversion is of the highest quality.” They also tell us to be on the lookout for “more details” coming soon.
As frustrating as it is to have a game you’re looking forward to delayed, I’d prefer to wait and get a great game, rather than get an okay game earlier. At least that’s my take on it. It’s the only thing that will keep me from openly weeping.
