With three Uncharted games, a myriad of game of the year awards under their belts and the promise of the upcoming The Last of Us, it’s been a good generation of games for Naughty Dog. And while half of the studio remains at work on that upcoming PS3 exclusive, it would seem that the other half are preparing to move on to Sony’s next system, no matter how unconfirmed it remains.
A job listing (via GameSpot) for a character artist to join to team makes specific mention to “next-gen games”, stating that the artist will be “making million poly models game ready, and support highest-res characters for renderings.”
What the next-gen project is, we don’t know. Perhaps another new IP is in store for the developer, or maybe Uncharted will get its fourth official outing for launch.
