Publisher Del Ray is taking Hitman to book shelves. A prequel novel has been announced for the summer, set snuggly between the happenings of Blood Money and this year’s Absolution.
Hitman: Damnation it’s called.
In the book, Agent 47 is tasked with taking out a number of political figures but, naturally, “he notices that some aspects of the mission don’t add up as he is plunged into a web of lies, deceit, and murder.”
The novel is penned by Raymond Benson, who’s previously written Tom Clancy and Metal Gear novels. He is also the fourth official James Bond novelist.
Like said before, the novel will be out sometime this summer. No concrete dates yet.
