Yet more rumors on an upcoming console. This time a Develop source has pointed out the Wii U’s possible power; the Nintendo machine is said to be twice as powerful as the Xbox 360.
Should the source be believed, the Wii U’s power has disappointed developers, with one, speaking under the condition of anonymity, saying the machine is “underpowered compared to what Nintendo announced.” As a result, studios have apparently had to “de-scale their plans.”
Yesterday, IGN ran a story saying the next Xbox would have six times the graphical might of its predecessor and be 20 percent more powerful than the Wii U. Clearly, someone’s sources are off the mark by quite a bit.
