Team Ninja has pledged their support to Nintendo’s upcoming Wii U by confirming that Ninja Gaiden 3 will come to the system.
The team is pretty clued up on the system, then. As such, Fumihiko Yasuda and Yosuke Hayashi from the team offered a few facts to GoNintendo about the device.
According to them, the system is easy to develop for, and similar to what’s already been seen on 360 and PS3. “Nintendo asked us what we would want from the hardware. And when we gave them our feedback, we could see that they really listened and made changes. The hardware is currently changing constantly,” Hayashi said.
Yasuda added: “The control via a touch screen is like the Nintendo DS, we worked on the NDS with Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword, and we would like to take some elements from it and install them in the U Wii version of Ninja Gaiden 3.”
Right now, the team is focusing on bringing Ninja Gaiden 3 over to the system, though they have said that it’s possible for the upcoming Dead or Alive 5 to hit too.
