Alex Seropian, co-founder of Bungie Studios, has left his most recent position at Disney Interactive. We were actually sort of wondering when he’d left Bungie, but hey.
The developer jumped on board with the House of Mouse back in 2009 when the publisher acquired his team, Wideload Games. Following the massive layoffs to hit Disney last year, he moved into a new role of SVP and general manager of core games. Now, ex-Blizzard exec Bill Roper will take his place.
Disney’s recent financial woes have meant a shift to a focus on digital titles. We’re yet to see the publisher produce anything major on that front, though.
