Though games like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim come along once in a blue moon, gamers will always find ways to modify it however they can. Developer Bethesda, having realized this, has let loose the Skyrim Creation Kit on Steam because, well, why fight the fans’ creativity, right?
In addition to the Creation Kit, which will let players upload, download and install custom content through the Skyrim Workshop (accessible here), Bethesda has also released the high-resolution texture pack. The company insists on you making sure your rig surpasses the recommended specs before you attempt anything, though. So, make sure your rig surpasses the recommended specs, which include Windows Vista/7, 4GB of RAM and a DirectX 9.0c compatible NVIDIA or AMD ATI graphics card with at least 1 GB of RAM.
