Warner Brothers Interactive’s Batman: Arkham City has gone on to do the kind of business that would make Wayne Enterprises proud.
The publisher has revealed in its annual financial report that the critically acclaimed title has shipped six million copies to retailers worldwide. That’s a further 1.4 million units gone since the game’s October 2011 launch. Warner Bros. recorded$12.6 billion in revenue in its Filmed Entertainment Division this year, up $1 billion from the year before.
You don’t have to be the world’s greatest detective to realize this bodes well for a sequel.
