BAFTA reveals public-voted award shortlist

It’s nearly time for the GAME BAFTA awards again in the UK.

As such the organisation has revealed the shortlist for this year’s BAFTA GAME award, the only publicly-voted category of the lot.

It’s a pretty standard list, though it reads a bit longer than we expected it to. The likes of Batman, Uncharted and Skyrim find themselves up there but there’s even room for shooter heavyweights like Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3. The nice surprise this year is the presence of Mojang’s Minecraft among the nominees.

The ceremony takes place on March 16. Votes for the GAME award can be cast here.

The full list is below:

Batman: Arkham City
Battlefield 3
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
L.A. Noire
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Portal 2
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception
