EA loses chief financial officer

A 4-year EA veteran, CFO Eric Brown’s unexpected exit from the company has been announced. He’ll be joining the ranks at communications firm Polycom.

The news comes from a press release welcoming the man to his new job, as picked up by gi.biz. “I am delighted to join Polycom at such an exciting time,” Brown said.

The reasons for his exit from the games industry go unexplained.

February 17th will be his last day at the publisher, after which EA chief accounting officer and senior vice president Kenneth Barker will be taking his post.
