Alan Wake has been out on the Xbox 360 for a while. In the next few days, the PC crowd will be receiving the same attention when the same game releases for the platform. And just a little bit after that, on February 17th, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare kicks off the Xbox Live Arcade Block Party.
With the dude running around with his flashlight everywhere, you’d think someone would bastardly steal the batteries and let him freak out for a while. But the company and CEO Matias Myllyrinne may have other plans.
“We’ll certainly continue with Wake,” said Myllyrinne. “Right now we’re focusing on getting the PC out next week, then getting American Nightmare out. And it’s too early to talk about what our next move is, but we’ve obviously put things into motion.”
It’s already been reported that Remedy is working on a “groundbreaking AAA console project” which could possibly be a proper sequel to Alan Wake, although there are no facts that would prove such speculations to be true. In addition, if XBLA project American Nightmare does take off like a rocket, Remedy will commit to doing more of it.
