Journey, the latest from thatgamecompany has been granted a release date for both the EU and US, following yesterday’s announcement of a March 15 release in Japan.
It comes to the EU a day earlier on March 14, the PlayStation Blog has announced. Oh, and the US get it a day earlier than that on March 13. Both dates coincide with their respective territories weekly PS Store updates. In the US the game will cost $14.99, though there’s no price for the EU announced yet.
Studio co-founder Jenova Chen offered comment on the game’s nearing release saying: “for us, the Journey in the game has also become a metaphor for the development process of the game itself. Our team is very close to our own mountaintop; we are just a few short weeks away from letting the world experience what we’ve poured our hearts and souls into these last three years. I can’t describe how eager we are to let everyone finally play the game and hear about your experiences with it.”
We can confirm that our eagerness to play it is reaching similar heights.
