BioWare has plans to support Mass Effect 3 with post-launch content for “quite some time,” the studio has said.
For Mass Effect 2, the studio released numerous campaign extensions, including one that leads into the events of next month’s third and final act. With 3 also packing a cooperative mode however, expect the selection of DLC to vary.
“We are going to be supporting Mass Effect 3 for quite some time, because I think people are going to have a lot of fun with multiplayer, and we’ll be supporting that with new content as we go forward,” executive producer Casey Hudson says, going on to say that the developer has “a really good DLC plan, like we had for Mass Effect 2,” promising “new adventures and new things to do.”
“Then, beyond that, we’ll just have to wait and see.”
The game’s out in early March; the 6th in the US, 9th in Europe.
