PlayStation-owning GTA fans, and I know there’s many of you out there, take note.
While we all await the eventual release of GTA5, or even just the re-release of GTA3 and Vice City on the PlayStation Store, fans of the blockbuster franchise can finally download the only current next-gen iteration of the series, Grand Theft Auto IV, straight from the PSN today.
The former highest-selling game of all time has been available for download on Microsoft’s Xbox Live since 2009.
Two versions of the game are available: the regular edition, which consists of the standalone title, will run you $19.99/£19.99/€24.99 and is 11 GB in size, while the Complete Edition, which includes The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC packages, will cost $29.99/£27.99/€34.99 and is a 16 GB download. PlayStation Plus members will receive a 20% discount on purchases of the Complete Edition.
It’s hard to imagine many gamers out there as not having played such a modern classic, but for those few of you that haven’t had the chance, or for those who just want to tear apart Liberty City all over again, here’s your opportunity.
