Given last year’s leak on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Activision are keeping understandably hush-hush on this year’s super-shooter release. So when Amazon France listed Black Ops 2 available for pre-order recently, the publisher wasn’t too happy, reportedly blacklisting the site that original reported the listing.
But that’s not the case, assures the publisher. Speaking on behalf of the company, a PR agency stated to VentureBeat: “Activision doesn’t blacklist journalists. We believe this was a misunderstanding and are working towards a resolution.”
It’s reassuring to hear the company take a direct stance on this situation. Besides, we all really know that Black Ops 2 is on for this year, don’t we?
