Sony is to hold a PS Vita event this Friday and, naturally, it looks like some of the announcements have already been outed by a retailer.
UK online store Play.com has listed and taken down three games today, which Eurogamer has shots of. They include Tales of Innocence R, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and, most surprisingly, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Nights.
Reports are coming in of a fourth listing for Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, but TVGB can tell you that that listing had existed before these other three were put up. Of course, it would be a pretty huge deal if such a game was announced on Friday.
Final Fantasy Type-0 released in Japan last year for PSP. As the addition of the HD to this new title suggests that it will hit Vita with updated graphics.
Grand Theft Auto is completely new to us. Rockstar of course supported PSP with the sublime GTA: Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories as well as Chinatown Wars later on. Coupled with the already-confirmed Call of Duty and Assassin’s Creed games coming to the system, it would seem that Vita has most of gaming’s biggest franchises under its belt.
Let’s hope Friday reveals a bevy of details on these title.
