Skyrim given GDC Awards GOTY; all winners inside

Add another one to Bethesda’s big bag o’ awards; The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has picked up Game of the Year recognition from the Game Developers Conference Awards.

Valve’s Portal 2 walked away with three awards, and Bastion developer Supergiant Games got two.

Deus Ex creator Warren Spector — who’s expected to reveal Epic Mickey 2 later this month — was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, while Ken Doroshow and Paul M. Smith were recognized with the Ambassador Award for spearheading the fight to have videogames recognized as a form of free speech.
