DICE is working on adding customizable servers to the console versions of Battlefield 3. Karl-Magnus Troedsson, the developer’s CEO, revealed as much at a recent event held by publisher EA. “All active players out there playing on consoles today will now have the opportunity to customize their servers and set them up exactly how they want them to play,” he said.
“Now this is a feature that in Battlefield on PC we’ve had for some time, but it’s an absolute first on console. So, we’re pretty excited about this.”
Troedsson didn’t give a time table for when the feature would be rolled out though.
This is far from the only update Battlefield 3 players can look forward to; next to the massively massive amount of fixes, EA just announced three themed multiplayer expansions.
