A bit of Trine developer Frozenbyte’s future doings have been revealed.
With Trine 2 now out pretty much everywhere you can imagine, first up will be DLC. The content will add a new story that spans six new stages. According to marketing director Mikael Haveri who revealed it during a GDC panel last week, we can expect puzzles based on light, water, low gravity and magnetic elements. New skills are a go as well. It’ll be out sometime this summer.
As for the more distant future, looks like Trine 3 may have to wait; the studio’s working on a new property. It’ll be released at a $15 price point, meaning it’ll be another downloadable release most likely.
