Former PlayStation man Phil Harrison helped launch the PS3 this generation, and has been pivotal to the brand’s development since it launched. Big news then; he’s just signed up with Microsoft, GamesIndustry reports.
Harrison, who’s coming off of the back of a fairly brief stint at Atari and London Venture Partners, will be taking over as head of European Games Studios. That’s the very position than industry icon Peter Molyneux left just last week. Quite a switch up, that.
He could well be a dominant force on the Microsoft stage come E3, then. That’s something we never thought we’d see.
