Hunted developer InXile entertainment has launched its new Kickstarter campaign for Wasteland 2, the sequel to the 1988 Fallout precursor.
The developer is seeking $900,000 over the course of the next 34 days to see the sequel made. It hopes to reach a grand total of $1 million, though $100,000 of that money has already been donated by executive producer Brian Fargo. The total currently sits just over $55,000 but it’s growing very fast.
Intentions to start up such a campaign were made clear by the developer after the recent success of Double Fine’s own Kickstarter project. That project recently hit the $3 million mark before coming to a close today; could inXile see similar success?
