One of the major complaints about Ninja Gaiden 3 thus far has been that the game scales back on the amount of weapons at Ryu’s disposal to focus on the Dragon Sword. The sword itself handles perfectly, but it limits the range of combat options for players to tinker with.
Good news then; more weapons are coming in the form of DLC. Even better news; it will all be free. As Andriasang reports, the scythe and claw will be available first, though they’ve only been confirmed for Japan so far. We’re bound to get it too, though, and hopefully a few more weapons.
Ninja Gaiden 3 launches next week on PS3 and 360. Have a look at the most recent trailer here.
