The industry’s worst kept secret right now is, of course, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 successor, which we’ve heard plenty of rumors on.
Now a pair of job listings have made said secret just a tiny bit less, well, secret. Superannuation spotted one ad for a software development engineer to join Microsoft’s Redmond HQ. “Join us as an integral part of the team tasked to revolutionize audio for the next generation of Xbox,” it reads.
Meanwhile, and ad over at Forza developer Turn 10 (via CVG) sees the studio asking for a cinematics art director capable of “defining and driving the cinematics vision and techniques needed to achieve exceptionally high quality content for our Next Generation of games.”
At this point in time there’s not much worth speculating on. All we can do it wait for MS to bite the bullet and show its cards.
