TGC loses two, world gains co-op puzzler

Journey developer thatgamecompany has lost two of its worker bees; Chris Bell and John Nesky have left the hailed studio to start up The Wilderness, a new studio that has its sights on Way, a finalist at the Independent Games Festival.

At thatgamecompany, Bell was a producer and designer while Nesky was “feel engineer.” They’re joined by Walt Destler, who’s worked at Schell Games and Walt Disney Imagineering.

Way was originally released as a free alpha build, but the co-op puzzler’ headed for a commercial release now. No word on when, though.
