Here’s one we don’t quite know how to interpret; composer Akira Yamaoka says he’s been thinking of a follow-up to the wildly insane Shadows of the Damned.
“I’m thinking of a sequel, actually,” he’s told Eurogamer. “I can’t tell you here, but clearly I’d like to.”
The game was a collaboration between Suda 51, Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami, and Yamaoka, who’s probably best known for his tunes in Silent Hill.
It didn’t do well financially though, making this bit of news perhaps somewhat surprising. Still, Yamaoka says that EA — who published the first game — could well be interested in a sequel.
“Probably,” he said when asked the question, then adding: “Well, yes.”
