Another director exits BioShock flick

The BioShock movie has lost its second director; 28 Weeks Later director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo has said he’s no longer involved.

“To be honest, by now, I’m completely out of that, and developing other stuff,” he’s told IndieWire.

“Right now it’s on hold,” says the departed director — who took over from Gore Verbinski in 2010 — further explaining: “The studio and the videogame company, they have to reach some kind of agreement about the budget and the rating.”

The chances of seeing Rapture on the big screen just got a slimmer, then.
