March was meant to be all about Silent Hill. There was meant to be a triple whammy of Downpour followed by the HD Collection, punctuated by Book of Memories on Vita.
Turns out that Downpour is lacking and the HD Collection is broken. Third strike? Book of Memories has been delayed. Oh dear.
Amazon and Gamefly have both shifted the game’s release to May 31, two months past the original release. Konami later confirmed the delay to Ripten, though it didn’t give anything in the way of a reason for the move other than the promise of a ‘more formal announcement’ incoming.
Combined with the reception of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, it hasn’t been a good month for survival horror fans.
