Robert Bowling, creative strategist at Infinity Ward and effectively the face of the Call of Duty franchise for a number of years now, has left the studio. Not only that, he’s also called it quits with parent Activision.
He announced his exit via Twitter: “Today, I resign from my position as Creative Strategist of Call of Duty, as a lead of Infinity Ward, and as an employee of Activision.”
Bowling joined the Call of Duty house in 2006, initially filling the role of community manager. Where he’s off to next isn’t revealed.
