Ubisoft has suggested that using a controller for the PC version of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed III may be the best way to control the blockbuster.
Speaking to Gamespy, creative director Alex Hutchinson suggested players adopt the next scheme: “We’re definitely supporting PC,” he said. “We love PC, but I think it’ll be PC with a controller. I don’t see us investing hugely in a mouse and keyboard setup. I think if you want to play on PC and you want to play Assassin’s Creed, you have a controller.”
Ubisoft later confirmed to RPS that a mouse and keyboard scheme would be implemented as always. The company is event adamant that the PC version will launch with the console ones at the end of October. Imagine that.
