PlayStation’s UK division is getting ready to extend the marketing campaign for the PS Vita for the Easter holidays.
MCV reports that Sony is spending a further £1.5m on marketing for its new handheld in the coming weeks. This will cover an expansive outdoor campaign as well as continued TV, cinema and print advertising.
“We have an always-on approach to Vita marketing, continually evolving and updating our campaigns to match the new and compelling entertainment experiences delivered by this uniquely powerful device,” said UK marketing lead Alan Duncan.
Sony has been quite on the sales of the Vita in western territories since announcing 1.2 million units sold shortly after launch. Expect an update at E3 at the very latest.
