Rumors of both Project Durango (next Xbox) and Orbis (next PlayStation) are swirling around at the moment, and IGN has come up with some more specifics on the graphic’s card for Sony’s next effort.
The site cites various anonymous sources in saying that the new machine packs AMD’s A8-3850 APU and the Radeon HD 7670 GPU. The proposed DirectX 11-enabled card clocked to 1GHz with up to 1GB of dedicated VRAM is a “re-branded” version of the HD 6670 with identical specifications. The HD 6670 is what’s being used in the new Xbox, apparently.
I will be completely honest with you here, reader. I don’t have a friggin’ clue what I’m writing.
Can it run Crysis? Someone tell me.
