Aban Hawkins & the 1000 Spikes, an Xbox Live Indie classic, is heading to both the Wii U and 3DS via eShop, Spanish site RevoGamers (via) reports.
The port is being handled by Cave Story developer Nicalis, and comes armed with a slightly changed name; Aban Hawkins & the 1001 Spikes. Apparently the 3DS version of the 8-bit platformer will come first, while the Wii U version should grace the system’s launch. That would suggest that Nintendo will have its eShop up and running by the system’s release.
This port will feature new art, graphics, music and sound as well as four-player multiplayer.
