RPG newbie Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning has done publisher EA proud, it would seem.
Joystiq reports that, in the US alone, the game has currently sold 410,000 copies. That doesn’t even include digital sales and, when met with international figures, would surely be a lot higher. WPRI.com reports the game sold a further 80,000 copies in March; not too shabby at all for a new IP.
It bodes well for the future of the franchise too, which should be seeing an MMO and hopefully a sequel too.
