We don’t know how Sony’s PS Vita is performing in the US right now, but if Japan’s sales are anything to go by then it’s not doing too well at all.
The handheld moved just 8,250 units in its home turf last week, a new low for sales. There wasn’t a single Vita title on the top ten software sales. Meanwhile it was another good week for the 3DS with 64,000 units moved, with PS3 and PSP following in second and third respectively.
Sony is going to need software to boost Vita sales sharpish, it would seem.
