New Portal 2 DLC “Perpetual Testing Initiative” will launch for PC and Mac on May 8th, Valve’s just announced, allowing players to create, share and play their own puzzles in the first-person headscratcher.
It’s all in-game, too; “The Initiative comes with a simplified puzzle maker that allows that creation of mind-bending puzzles without ever leaving the game,” the announcement reads.
“The puzzle maker can directly publish maps to the Steam Workshop where users can browse, vote on, and select to play them. Selected puzzles will automatically be downloaded and installed inside Portal 2.”
To top it off, it’ll be available free of charge. Science!
