Joy Ride Turbo announced for XBLA

Microsoft has confirmed a follow-up to its Kinect-enabled Joy Ride.

The new game,  Joy Ride Turbo, will head to the masses via Xbox Live Arcade and is ditching Kinect support in favor of the regular ol’ controller.

A new Stunt Park, a locale described as “a vast, vibrant playground for your car where you can jump off cliffs, shoot out of a cannon, and more,” is included.

42 vehicles can be unlocked altogether, via exploring and collecting trophies, car parts and coins, next to doing races through three gamemodes: Battle Race, Pro Race & Time Trial.

8-player online multiplayer and 4-player split-screen is in there as well.
