Update: And we didn’t have to wait long; Kotaku’s been sent a bit of swag from THQ, which promises more information on Monday, apparently. “Briefings begin May 7,” it’s said.
Original story: Company of Heroes, Relic Entertainment’s strategy outing from 2006, is getting a follow-up. A leaked cover of an upcoming issue of PC Gamer brings the news (via Gaf).
Apparently due out some time next year, the game takes place around the Eastern Front of World War 2, with players controlling Russian forces. Further details are scarce, but it seems we can expect plenty of snow to hinder troop and tank movement. Snow can also be used to form cover.
When quizzed by GI, publisher THQ didn’t deny the game’s existence and promised more details to arrive soon.
