THQ will be skipping the effort of setting up an E3 booth this year, with the publisher’s well-known financial woes behind the decision.
The company will still attended the show, it’s just the booth part that’s a no-go. It’s explained in a statement: “We’re not producing a booth, but we will be participating in E3. We will be showing games to the E3 judges at their event coming up, and we’ll be hosting a press and business center at the show for meetings (as well as participating with first party activities).”
It’s pointed out that the decision not to have a booth was made months ago, when the company was in a “MUCH different place than today.”
“But, we will be there to support our portfolio and the show itself.”
THQ just yesterday announced a new stand-alone expansion — The Dominatrix — for its knight in shining armor, Saints Tow: The Third.
