Patient PlayStation 3 owners of Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 that bought in to the company’s Call of Duty Elite DLC subscription package will soon have access to two multiplayer maps their Xbox 360 brethren have been fragging players on for about a month.
The Sanctuary and Foundation maps will go live for PS3 on Thursday, May 10th, according to Activision’s Call of Duty Elite Twitter account. The tweet also mentions that the DLC will only be made available currently to Call of Duty Elite premium members. Those that are a part of the free edition of Elite will have to pay to play the new content on Thursday.
These maps have been available to Xbox 360 gamers since April 10th, in keeping with Microsoft’s agreement with Activision to release all Call of Duty downloadable content a month earlier than on Sony’s console, an agreement that expires sometime this year.
