No plans whatsoever for Dragon’s Dogma on PC — producer

Capcom currently has no plans for a PC version of Dragon’s Dogma. The game’s pawn system somehow makes it “a bit difficult,” according to producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi.

“At the moment, we don’t have any plans to release a PC version – it’s just a bit difficult with the whole pawn system and the borrowing and lending,” was the short answer given in a recent interview.

As for sequels and other platforms, Capcom has taken a wait-and-see stance with this one. “If people like it, there is definitely a possibility of future installments,” Kobayashi says.

“As far as future consoles are concerned, we’re still not sure yet: we want to focus on the first one and see how well it is accepted around the world first before we can even think about next-gen consoles.”

The action-RPG will be out on Xbox 360 and PS3 later this month. May 22nd in NA, 25th in EU.
