Eden Games is no more. Amidst taking a $4.8 million loss in FY 2012, Atari has closed the Test Drive Unlimited developer (via).
The studio’s latest effort remains Test Drive Unlimited 2. Heavy layoffs had already hit the developer in 2011.
The closure comes as part of Atari’s company-wide restructuring effort, which includes the sale of its stake in French television channel GameOne for $7.6 million.
It’s not all bad news though. The company’s mobile offerings such as Breakout: Boost, Atari’s Greatest Hits, and Asteroid Gunner have sold over 10 million copies combined.
