Diablo III Guest Pass, Starter Edition are a go

Much like it did with StarCraft II, Blizzard has announced a Starter Edition for Diablo III. Accessible with Guest Passes for the first 30 days following tomorrow’s worldwide launch, the SE gives players free access the game’s first act, right up to the Skeleton King.

There’s also a level cap of 13 in place and matchmaking will be available between other SE players only. Real money Auction House access is denied as well.

Once those 30 days are up, everyone will be able to download the Starter Edition through Battle.net. For now though, Guest Passes are included with new copies of the game, so go bug that friend.
