Microsoft-owned Rare is next to hop on the next-gen train; “multiple AAA future console releases” is what the developer is working on, according to another discovered job listings.
“Whilst continual development of their core releases will be maintained, the successful candidate will be joining at a time where the studio is looking to move into new areas and develop new IPs for future platforms,” reads an ad for a senior product manager, as found by superannuation.
That means we can likely continue to count on games like Kinect Sports (yay?), but also new intellectual properties. Fingers crossed they’ll be games that put the developer back on the map, so to speak, and remove the shovelware reputation it has been branded with in recent years, yeah?
