Some UK sales figures for Nintendo and Sony’s latest handhelds have been revealed, and they’re not doing quite as well as their predecessors, wouldn’t you know it.
According to a source with numbers from data cruncher GFK Chart-Track (via Pocketgamer), the 3DS is nearing one million units sold in the country. Currently at nearly 950,000, the system took 61 weeks to reach the figure. To compare, the DS reached a million sold in 51 weeks.
Of the two, the Vita is worse off though, having apparently just only passed the 100,000 units sold mark, which is less than a third of what the PSP managed in the same 10-week post-launch timeframe.
But upwards, onwards, yeah?
