The folks over at VG247 are reporting that Sony is expected to announce some sort of partnership with a cloud gaming service at their annual E3 press conference this June 4th.
And…that’s all we’ve got for now. Whether Sony will be partnering with OnLive, Gaikai, or some other cloud service is currently unknown.
The deal will apparently allow for cloud streaming games, demos and the like on PlayStation hardware, though whether that means the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, or (and this is a longshot) the PlayStation 4 is also unknown at the moment.
If nothing else, the news does make for yet another thing to look out for at this year’s E3.
