Yet another blow to the third-party hopes of the Wii U has been revealed. THQ has confirmed that they are no longer working on a Wii U version of their atmospheric shooter Metro: Last light. The official stance appears to be a bit more vague, with THQ’s global brand manager Mark Madsen telling Digital Spy that “it’s not in development [at the moment]”.
Whether or not they’ll pick it up again at a later date, or if this is just a way of letting people down gently is yet to be revealed. A bit of a disappointment really considering this was one of the big games at E3 next week helping demonstrate the wide third-party support for the console.
